Located in the charming small Parish of Chapmanslade, the Hideaway Barn estate is surrounded by scenic Wiltshire countryside that could be straight from the world of a period drama.
With a population of just over 600, this delightful little village hosts our entire estate and whilst most don’t feel it necessary to venture too far thanks to the facilities we offer on site, there is plenty to see and do if you decide to venture a little further afield.
You can have a wander around the lovely Frome town centre which has a wealth of historic architecture as well as a thriving arts scene. There are places to eat and drink and it’s just under 4 miles from the estate, so roughly an hour walking or 10 minutes in the car.
If you’re looking for a walk suitable for little legs you can make your way to Heaven’s Gate, or there’s also the more ambitious Cley Hill which is a National Trust protected area.
