If you’re up for exploring, Hetton is a brilliant base for hiking or cycling through the Dales. There are plenty of trails nearby, whether you’re looking for an easy-going walk or something a bit more challenging. The landscape around here is classic Yorkshire Dales—green, hilly, and full of sheep. You could spend hours just wandering the paths, admiring the countryside, and breathing in that fresh country air. And if you’re keen on a day trip, nearby towns like Grassington and Skipton are worth a visit, each offering their own slice of local history, markets, and quaint shops.
