Step inside Telford House, where grand interiors and carefully curated design elements create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The spacious entrance hall leads to multiple entertainment areas, making it ideal for both relaxation and celebration.

The formal dining room, with its magnificent views over the Menai Straits, comfortably seats 16 guests – perfect for memorable meals. The fully equipped kitchen boasts modern appliances, granite countertops, and a convenient breakfast bar, making meal preparation a pleasure.

The main sitting room is an inviting space featuring plush seating and large windows that flood the room with natural light. Here you’ll also find a sunroom, providing a serene spot to admire the ever-changing waterscape. For more intimate gatherings, the second living room offers a quiet reading nook or can serve as a home office or boardroom. But that’s not all! On the ground floor you’ll also find a snug ‘gaming’ lounge that can double up as a 7th bedroom.

Leisure Suite

Entertainment is at the heart of Telford House. The music room, complete with a piano, is perfect for those who enjoy a melodic backdrop. The snug ‘gaming’ lounge offers a cosy retreat for younger guests (or the young at heart) and can also double as a seventh bedroom if needed. For those looking to unwind, the sunroom in the living room is the perfect place to sit and watch the constant boating activity on the Straits (it’s our favourite room as well!)

Luxurious Bedrooms

Each of the six bedrooms has been designed with comfort and elegance in mind, offering stunning views of either the Menai Straits or the picturesque gardens. All bedrooms are beautifully furnished, and three come equipped with Smart TVs for added convenience. The master suite features a king-size bed, a walk-in wardrobe, and a luxurious en-suite bathroom. The family suite spans two levels, with a double bed on the first floor and another on the mezzanine level, complete with its own en-suite bathroom. A sleek shower room and a ground-floor cloakroom serve the remaining rooms.

Gardens

Nestled in mature grounds, the fashionable interiors of the period home are replicated throughout the outdoor spaces. With a barbeque terrace, lounging sofas and formal outdoor dining areas set across the waterside, Telford House has been designed for al fresco dining. The landscaped gardens stretch along the river bank to the water’s edge and offer great opportunities for exploring and playing. Meanwhile, the large patio area, which sweeps around the whole front of the house, is ideal for outside entertaining. Complete with a luxurious hot tub where you can unwind while taking in the breath-taking views of the strait and surrounding countryside.

A Family Friendly Stay

We know packing for a family trip is not easy! Cots and highchairs are available, and additional infant equipment such as baby bathtubs can be provided subject to availability and by advanced request.
